So. . .
To update everybody, I got a new job, I got a motorcycle, I got a foot problem, school, and during the summer everyone leaves Rexburg. I can see now why some kids start doing drugs.

The Beach Boys
Last thursday my softball team got slottered. I made at least 4 errors and thought life was over. These are pictures of Alex and I in Palm Beach Florida on our business executive trip. (just a little weekend get-a-way for us). Alright, we're actually at the Rigby lake, I think, in Idaho. No were near Palm Beach. Nevertheless I'm sure the sun burns are the same at both.
This lake is a huge, shallow, man made, pond. People from all over Idaho come to swim in it's green waters. I had a blast though, alot of people just having a good time. We went with our friends Mandy and Katie, and they both have mad rafting skills like you wouldn't believe. It is only a matter of time before this lake is named after Alex and I. For all the wonder things that we brought to this people. Like slang, "fo shiz, my

A step into my life
Joe and Katie

These pictures are a step into my life. These people are my friends, and friends are my family. They represent my standards and morals. Every day they influence my life, whether it's what they've done, what they are doing or what they are going to do. They know what is right, and they do it. You have only one life, so pick who you want to share it with.

9/11
The FBI's later explanation for the white jet was that a passing civilian Fairchild Falcon 20 jet was asked to descend from 34,000ft to 5,000ft some minutes after the crash to give co-ordinates for the site. The plane and pilot have never been produced or identified.
This is a Fairchild Falcon 20. . .
Sorry Alex
After I had posted 'Softball' I had realized that I bagged on Alex pretty good in it. I'm sorry bro. I totally didn't mean to make fun of you. Sorry : ) haha
Softball
Tonight was the night I had been waiting for since Sunday. Softball night! The last time I played competitive ball was pretty much a year ago if not more, so I've been itching to play. I was SO pumped all freak'in day knowing I was going to play. In my mind (since I'm in a singles ward) I pictured us playing a singles ward with some relatively o.k. ball players. Steve and I showed up and the opposing team was a family ward, and their kids! What the heck, I could just see myself crushing one straight into a mom's face. How am I suppose to put any real effort into this game? If we crush them, wow we beat a bunch of 40 year olds, and if we go easy then it looks like we suck. I was in a bit of a pickle, and not the ones Alex likes. Anyways, we crushed them 26 to 5 and I didn't end up killing any relief society presidents. They were pretty sore losers though, when they did their cheer they said, " 1-2-3 No Rings!" , thats messed up huh?! I wasn't offended, but all the real singles were hahaha! All in all it was pretty fun. Oh and by-the-way, Alex got a speed warning for going to fast on the side walk with his bike. Haha way to stick to the 'man' Alex.

Being Humbled
Man, with a section heading like 'Being Humbled' you know there's got to be some lesson learned in the next few lines. Guess what, your right! Yesterday was my first sunday dinner by myself and I ended up having to make two. I had put too much water in my butter flavored noodles. The worst part about it was my emotional trauma. Number one, I didn't have dinner when I really thought I was, and number two, I had always imagined myself like Emeril. Well maybe not Emeril but you get the point.
My bike is a whole other story. It all started at Wal Mart, walking up to the cash register with a brand new bike in a college town. This may have been the most embaressing time in my life. There is no way of looking remotely cool walking out of that store with that little circular advertisement in your front wheel! The ladies do not dig the circular advertisement. I honestly felt like a ten year old on christmas day. Nevertheless, the bike works fine, except for the handlebars that can't seem to stay put. But I mean it's cooler that way right?
Oh and just a word of advise, never wash your whites with a red towel. And never buy towels from the DI, they just shed. I have already lost one sock. I wish I would lost the other one just so that it doesn't remind me of it's lost compadre.
I'm sure there's more but you might get to thinkin it sucks up here and thats not the truth. Its awesome and definetly a humbling experience.

! 1st Post !
Wow, my first post on my brand new blog. Well there's not much say about new beginnings except I just moved to Idaho, have made all new friends, and attend a singles ward, but no big deal. Oh and Alex is here as well, you can't beat the Martinsen Thompson duo, after all someone's gotta look out for him. Not to mention his mom calls every day. . . ok my mom does too, so i guess we didn't get as far as we thought.
